Number 27: After our family: Sheryl, Raymond, Yair & Maya, returned to South Africa from Israel in August 1990,  Sheryl – a Fine Art Graduate and Art Teacher by Profession, opened an Art Studio for children in the garage of the house we purchased at 24 Quo Vadis Road, Tygerhof, Milnerton, Cape Town.

One day in August 1994 Sheryl went inside the house to answer the telephone during a lesson. Upon returning she discovered, with shock!, that eight year old Yair had cut off a chunk of Maya’s fringe ..which now looked like that of Yolande in ‘Die Antwoord’ i.e. Very little fringe at all!

It was a fringeless Maya at her birthday party later that week!
